Joe is a respected member of the risk management and insurance community and prior to joining SRC he spent the past two decades focusing his creativity on the risk management and insurance processes for large organizations. His responsibilities included the purchase of insurance, risk financing, risk control, claims and litigation management, large self insured property, liability and auto programs, along with managing Captive insurance companies.

In addition to Joe’s extensive business experience, he is dedicated to the risk management profession by serving two terms as the president of the Ontario Risk & Insurance Management Society and served 5 years as a board director of the Risk & Insurance Management Society. He has presented and chaired at a number of risk management and insurance conferences and educational seminars. He has written a number of risk management & insurance articles for the various trade and mainstream media.

Presently, he is V.P of the William H. McGannon Foundation for the Advancement of Risk Management and the Authorized Independent Agent for ClearRisk.
