Owen is the founder and president of Strategic Risk Control Ltd. and the creator of The Due Diligence Protocol™, a process aimed at providing clients with a unique Risk Control system, designed to keep them out of the courts and to increase their insurability.

In doing this, he draws upon over 30 years of intensive experience as an insurance defence lawyer wherein he has been constantly called upon to defend people and organizations when risk has gone wrong.

He and his team apply "trial-ready" methods of focusing in on the nature and quality of a risk and providing a system of due diligence to prevent liability problems.

Owen has written many articles for publication in various magazines. Over the years, he has given numerous presentations at seminars dealing with insurance law, commercial law and risk management.

Owen lives with his wife Joanne and his daughter Gabrielle on a farm in New Liskeard, Ontario, where he escapes from the risks of stress in business by enjoying nature and participating in all sorts of sporting activities.

His experience and expertise have provided his clients with valuable insight into their potential business problems, as well as the ability to sleep at night, secure in the knowledge that those risks are covered off by remarkably effective systems.
